SETTING This unit is located in a natural forest setting adjacent to 90-mile-long Lake Koocanusa (KOOtenai/CANada/USA--coo/can/oosa) and along State Highway 37.

From Rexford, travel 26 miles south on State Highway 37 to the campground sign.

From Libby, follow State Highway 37 north for 38 miles.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS This site features a camping/parking area that is surrounded by forest lands. Grassy islands divide the internal access roads and a paved road leads to the boat ramp. Visitors find this location appropriate for weekend getaways and fisherpersons enjoy the prime kokanee salmon fishery offered by the lake.
